Obituary

Charles Elliott O’Hearn, Sr. was born December 20, 1953 in Randolph County the son of the late E.E. “Dock” O’Hearn and Helen McLendon O’Hearn of Parrott. He was a graduate of Terrell Academy and Georgia Southwestern State University.

Charles started his work career with the Bank of Terrell before pursuing his life-long love of farming. He farmed alongside his brother as well as his wife, son and daughter. He was a member of Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and infant son. Survivors include his wife, Jan Beard O’Hearn of Shellman; his son, Chase O’Hearn of Parrott; his daughter, Haley Morris (Ben) of Shellman; a brother, Jeff O'Hearn (Gina) of Parrott; two granddaughters, Hadley and Hensley Morris; and several nieces and nephews. 

Charles prided himself in being a loyal friend. He cherished his family and friends. His favorite name was “Cha-cha” to his precious granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021.
