Virginia Jones Little, 91, of Dawson passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be held at Harvey Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Horace Keen, Rev. Jay Thomason and Rev. Jay Roberson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Harvey Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. just prior to the service.

Virginia was born in Bluffton, GA on August 27, 1920, daughter of the late B.C. Jones and the late Ada Britt Thompson Jones. She was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson and was married to the late Richard Wesley Little, Sr. She was employed with J.C. Penney Company for 39 years.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son, Rick Little and his wife, Suzette of Colquitt; granddaughter, Mandy Long (Trey) of Colquitt; grandson, Chad Little (April) of Leesburg; great-grandchildren, Ty Long and Fletcher Long of Colquitt, and Maddie Little of Leesburg; and nieces, Bennie Rhodes and Rosie McLendon of Dawson and Judy Rogers of Kirkland, WA.
