Wendell Keith Manning-Royal, 53, of Dawson, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Early in Blakely. A graveside memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Wendell was born in East Point, Georgia on July 6, 1958 to the late Harley S. Manning and the late Mary Ruby Fuller Royal. He was a former resident of Calhoun County and drove a truck for most of his life. He was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing.

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, W.R. Royal; sister, Felicia Royal; and brother-in-law, John M. Stokes.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Stokes Royal; son, Raymond Keith Royal; and brothers, Wayne Camp (Tommie), Jimmie Camp (Kathy) , Terry Camp (Becke), Donnie Camp (WilloGene), and Tony Royal.
